Telecommunications and Network Services (TNS) provides reliable, quality infrastructure
and information technology services to the SDSU community. TNS is a department
of Business Enterprises
. The following
TNS services will require a Service Request (see below for services
that do not require a Service Request):
Network and e-mail services:
- E-mail account activation
- Data/Ethernet connections
- Install new network connection ports
- Network equipment installation and consulting
- Wiring/wiring upgrades (some types)
- Remote access accounts and support
- Computer network security
Telephone, voice mail, fax, modem and copier services:
- Telephone adds/moves/changes
- New voice mail service
- Fax, modem or copier installation service (TNS
does not perform copier or fax maintenance or repairs; for information
about such services, visit http://bus.sdsu.edu/Stores/copierprgm.html

Note: TNS offers free training to individuals or groups on the use of
campus telephones and voice mail. (Often, questions about the use of your
telephone [call 43313] and voice mail [call 42293] can be answered over
the phone.)
